An independent guide to everyday cycling. Not connected with politics, politicians, parties or the authorities, not a shop or a repair workshop, and not connected with the former website on this domain.

Archive

The archive is a complete list of the guide's pages, ordered from newest to oldest. Above the list is a filter by label: rules, lights, care or kids. Tap the one you need and only matching materials remain. Every line leads to a live, working page. The guide is growing gradually, so the list is short for now, but over time standalone articles will be added on storing a bike over winter, locks and parking, riding in the rain and teaching a child to ride. At the very bottom of the page you will find a note about one address left on the domain from the former website, which now leads to our own explanatory page.

The archive is here for convenience, not for the record. If you remember only the topic, such as chain care or children's rides, the label filter will quickly take you to the right page.

— Editors' view

A line is added to the archive only once the page is fully ready: facts about the rules checked against the text of the Russian traffic rules, and care tips reread and simplified. We do not add drafts or empty placeholders. If a page is expanded later, its address does not change, so old bookmarks keep working, and the date in the list shows when the page first appeared.

The domain's old address

This domain was once occupied by a different website. Netlujkovu is not connected with it and does not restore any of its content. External links still point to the former home page address, so we have placed our own note there about what the site offers now and where to start reading. The note was written by us from scratch, is available only in Russian and does not draw on the former pages. No other old addresses were carried over.

  • Reference

Glossary: types of paths, pedestrian zone, hand signals, frame, drivetrain, brakes, tyre, seasonal service.

  • New

A timeline of the guide's publications: what came out and when, with topic labels.

  • Sections

The four sections of the guide: rules for cyclists, safety and visibility, bike care, and children on bikes.

  • Collections

Reading routes: your first season riding in town, cycling with a child, autumn rides at dusk.

Sources

  • Road Traffic Regulations of the Russian Federation, sections 19 and 24

Information on the rules follows the text of the Russian traffic rules as of the date the material was prepared; it is worth checking the current version before you ride, and riders elsewhere should check their local traffic rules. Care tips are general: if your bike's manual says otherwise, follow the manual, and leave complex repairs, especially brakes, to a mechanic.
